Remote Meetings

GoToMeeting

In response to the Town Hall closing, we have created this page as a hub for information about remote meetings.  How to join, how to watch, and other pertinent information.  We will be using the GoToMeeting meeting application to host  remotely.

The link to join a specific meeting will be posted under the calendar entry for that specific meeting when agendas & meetings are posted (Calendar Link). Simply click the link when it is available to join the meeting. In the event that a change may occur, we encourage those remotely attending each meeting to check auburnguide.com prior to the start of each meeting to verify meeting call-in and participation numbers, links and access codes.

HOW DO I? & FAQs

For board/committee chairs

  • Post your meeting/agenda with the  Town Clerk within 48 hours of your meeting as per required by the MA Open Meeting Law:  https://www.mass.gov/files/documents/2017/10/12/OML%20Text.pdf
  • Once live, read the protocols for how the public can participate with the GoToMeeting
  • Chair your meeting.
  • Once you are made "host" you will have control over your remote meeting.  This allows you to mute/unmute and recognize resident/abutters/public who would like to participate in a way that you would in an in-person meeting as usual.  This also allows for protocols of "Executive Session" to be followed.
  • Organizer Training: Hosting (Video)
  • Please contact the appropriate Town Department prior to meeting for Log In information if you did not previously receive an email from them. Thank you
