The Division is responsible for preparing the Town of Auburn’s roadway resurfacing and reconstruction contract documents and construction oversight of these projects, and provides oversight of the Town’s stormwater management system. The division is responsible for the timely inspections of the Town dams and coordinating the design of the dam reconstruction projects along with the construction oversight.
Its responsibilities also include:
Technical assistance to and review of plan submittal and permitting issues for the Conservation Commission, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and other Town capital facility projects
Developing and managing the regulations governing traffic and parking in the Town
Providing traffic planning analysis and recommendations
