Development & Inspectional Services

The Department of Development and Inspectional Services manages and operates the economic development and regulatory service functions of the Town and provides services relating to the state building code, the zoning by-laws, the architectural access code, the state sanitary code, and all other laws, codes and regulations and by-laws relating to health, the environment and human safety.

Public Services

The Department of Public Services provides programs and services for the residents and property owners of Auburn. This includes promoting the health and welfare of the senior citizens of Auburn, operating a senior center, maintaining and operating a library, supporting and honoring our veterans, and providing local cable access television services for the Town.
